At least 33 people have now been confirmed dead after a gunman went on the rampage at an American college.
A similar number were injured before the gunman was himself shot dead, according to reports.
The drama started at the Virginia Tech college in Virginia, at 7:15 at the West Ambler Johnston Hall, where 1 person has been confirmed dead, some 2 hours later more shootings occured at Norris Hall.
The gunman struck at both ends of the campus, shooting people in a classroom and dormitory, say police.
It is now the most horrific campus shooting in US History.
